INTRODUCTION
University of New England (UNE), Australia, invites applications for scholarship to PG and Doctoral students.
Scholarship award:
The Scholarship includes a stipend of $26,000 per annum, paid as a fortnightly allowance, and is tax-free. The level of the stipend will not be reduced over the period of the Scholarship.
A UNE IPRA covers tuition fees for a maximum of two years for a Masters degree or three years for a Doctoral degree.
A UNE IPRA covers standard overseas health insurance premiums for the student only for the period of HDR candidature.
Duration: Three years full-time for a doctoral degree, two years full-time for a Research Masters degree.
COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
Eligibilities: A Scholarship holder:
Must be an overseas student as defined in the Higher Education Support Act 2003
Must have received an Offer of full-time internal HDR Candidature at UNE but not be enrolled.
Must not be in receipt of an equivalent award, scholarship or salary providing a benefit greater than 75% of the Scholarship stipend rate, whilst in receipt of the Scholarship.
Must not have completed a research degree at the same level as the proposed candidature, or at a higher level.
